NDLON's mission is to improve the lives of day laborers in the United States. NDLON unifies and strengthens its member organizations to be more strategic and effective in their efforts to develop leadership, mobilize day laborers in order to protect and expand their civil, labor and human rights. NDLON fosters safer and more humane environments for day laborers, both men and women, to earn a living, contribute to society, and to integrate into the community. NDLON's vision aspires to live in a world of diverse communities where day laborers live with full rights and responsibilities in an environment of mutual respect, peace, harmony and justice.
